Electronic Signature Policy

Last updated: February 16, 2026

1. Legal Validity

Electronic signatures collected through our platform are legally binding and enforceable under the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN Act) and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA).

2. Consent to Use Electronic Signatures

By using our electronic signature feature, you consent to conduct business electronically and agree that electronic signatures have the same legal effect as handwritten signatures.

3. How Electronic Signatures Work

Our electronic signature process captures the following information to ensure authenticity and non-repudiation:

  • Signature Image: Your drawn signature captured on a digital canvas
  • Legal Name: Your typed legal name for verification
  • Timestamp: Date and time when the signature was created
  • IP Address: Network location from which the signature was executed
  • Document Hash: Cryptographic fingerprint of the signed document
  • User Identity: Account information of the signer

4. Audit Trail

Every electronic signature creates a permanent audit trail that includes all signature metadata. This audit trail is tamper-evident and can be used as evidence of the signing event.

5. Document Integrity

Once a document is signed electronically, it is locked and cannot be modified. Any attempt to alter the document after signing will invalidate the signature and be detectable through our verification system.

6. Identity Verification

Signers must be authenticated through our secure login system before they can execute electronic signatures. This ensures that only authorized individuals can sign documents.

7. Right to Withdraw Consent

You have the right to withdraw your consent to use electronic signatures at any time. However, withdrawal of consent does not affect the validity of signatures executed prior to withdrawal.

8. Record Retention

Electronically signed documents and their associated audit trails are retained in accordance with applicable legal requirements and our data retention policies.

9. Technical Requirements

To use our electronic signature feature, you need a device with a web browser that supports HTML5 canvas, JavaScript, and secure HTTPS connections. We recommend using an up-to-date browser for the best experience.
