Best Practices

1. Clean Your Data First

Remove duplicates, fix email formatting, and ensure business names are consistent before importing.

2. Start Small

Test with 5-10 rows first to ensure your format is correct, then import larger batches.

3. Include Optional Fields

The more information you provide, the better. Employee count and years in business help with initial estimates.

4. Follow Up Quickly

After import, follow up with leads within 24-48 hours while the welcome email is fresh in their minds.

Common Import Errors

Watch Out For

  • • Missing required columns (business_name, email)
  • • Invalid email formats
  • • Duplicate emails (will create separate accounts)
  • • Special characters in business names (handled automatically)
  • • Empty rows (skipped automatically)
